Add depth and layers of detail to your design by choosing a 3D Challenge Coin. The typical 2D coin only has two flat planes of relief on each side, whereas a 3D coin offers infinite levels and bevels for the most intricate designs.
Although Custom 3D Coins have significantly longer die machining times due to tool path complexity and additional tool changes, they are only slightly more expensive.

Choose Low Relief 3D for subtle depth or High Relief 3D for dramatic dimension, both offering extraordinary levels of detail. Low Relief coins will be similar in thickness to standard 2D custom coins while High Relief 3D Coins will be noticeably thicker to provide more metal to flow or extrude into the mold.

If your design does not require or cannot benefit from 3D on both sides of the coin we will credit you the extra 3D mold fee or increase the quantity of coins to offset it.
